Want to have fun and sharpen real-life obedience skills? In this class, you and your dog will play team-style games like musical chairs, relay races, and tic-tac-toe—while practicing stays, Leave It, recall (come), and heeling skills.
Prerequisite: Level 1 (or equivalent) and comfortable working in a group around other dogs and people.
Paws in Motion Dog Walking Club
Come enjoy a social walk with friends and your dog—great for practice, connection, and getting out together.
Equipment: Standard leash required (no retractable leashes).

Match This!
Teach your dog “match to sample”—the ability to choose the identical item you’re holding from a small group of items. This is a fantastic foundation for concept training and often boosts learning in other training areas, too.
Snuffle Mat Workshop (Humans Only)
Beat boredom with enrichment you can use at home! You’ll create your own snuffle mat (supplies included) and learn how to use it for meals or special treats. Sniffing and searching is naturally calming and mentally satisfying for dogs.
Notes: Humans only (no dogs attend).
Spring Dog Olympics
A playful hour of silly games and joyful competition—plus a chance to support a local rescue (announced before the event). Dogs earn medals, you’ll go home with a photo, and everyone wins (especially the snack budget).
Requirements: Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs.
Summer Dog Olympics
A fun-filled event supporting Wish Upon a Rescue. Dogs compete in silly games, earn medals, and go home with a treat and a photo.

Talking Buttons: Give Your Dog Some Choices!
Curious about talking buttons? We’ll teach choice-based games that help your dog communicate preferences (food, toys, activities, chews) and help you set healthy limits so buttons stay fun and functional.
Duration options: 1 week or 3 weeks.
Life Skills
Life Skills Program
Targeted training for everyday situations—from leash manners to vet visits and everything in between. These classes focus on the real-life skills your dog needs most, with expert coaching and the support of a group setting.
Calm & Comfortable Care
Is your dog nervous at the vet or groomer? Struggle with nail trims, ear cleaning, meds, or handling? This course helps dogs learn cooperative care skills at their own pace—so routine care becomes calmer and safer for everyone.
Duration options: 3 weeks (Part 1), 3 weeks (Part 2), or 6 weeks.
Chaos to Calm
For dogs who missed the memo about “relax.” We’ll teach your dog how to settle on a mat and in a crate, build calm body skills, and practice games that help them shift from high-energy to steady and focused.
COME QUICK: Emergency Recall Seminar (Humans Only)
Learn how to build a recall your dog genuinely loves—what cues work best, how to reward effectively, and how to train step-by-step around distractions. You’ll leave with a clear plan you can follow at home.

Two essential life skills in one class: a strong stay for impulse control and safety, plus a reliable recall for real-world situations.
Confidence Course
A structured, low-pressure course designed to build confidence and body awareness through safe exploration of new surfaces, textures, and novel items. Great for dogs who need help feeling comfortable in new situations.
Age options: Puppies/teens (under 2) or teens/adults (6 months+).
Notes: Not designed for reactive dogs; dogs should be comfortable hearing and occasionally seeing other dogs.
Confidence Shaping
Confidence-building games and training activities that help dogs develop resilience and curiosity. Homework is simple and easy to blend into daily life, with optional decompression walk suggestions.
Long Line Workshop
Want to give your dog more freedom on walks without going off-leash? Learn long-line setup, handling skills, safety tips, and why long lines are a better choice than retractable leashes.
Notes: Week 1 is people only (no dogs). Week 2 is hands-on practice with dogs.
Loose Leash Walking
Stop getting dragged down the block. We’ll teach why dogs pull and how to build practical loose-leash walking skills you can use immediately.
Duration options: 1, 3, 4, or 5 weeks.
Managing Over-Excitement
For dogs who rev up fast—mealtime frenzy, door-barging, car-launching, and everything in between. This class teaches impulse control and calmer routines for everyday “high energy” moments.
Prerequisite: Puppy class or Level 1 (or equivalent).
Notes: Not designed for reactive dogs.
Managing the Holidays: Preventing Food & Family Fiascos
Holiday chaos? Counter surfing? Guest excitement? We’ll work on training and management that helps your dog stay calm, make better choices, and thrive during gatherings—plus enrichment ideas for busy homes.
Prerequisite: Level 1 (or equivalent).
What to bring: A calm enrichment item (lick mat, bully stick, frozen Kong, etc.).
Out and About
Take your training into the real world. Practice polite public behavior in dog-friendly spaces with trainer support—great for building confidence around new sights, sounds, and distractions.
Polite Greetings
Stop the jumping, bouncing, and “I MUST SAY HI” moments. This class teaches calm greetings with people and dogs, plus real-life skills for chatting with neighbors without your dog doing parkour on your body.
Duration options: 3 weeks or 5 weeks.
Notes: Not designed for reactive dogs.
Prevent Table & Counter Surfing
Teach your dog to relax on a mat or in their “place” and ignore tempting food—especially helpful for busy households and holiday gatherings. You’ll learn training strategies plus management setups that make success easier.
Stay: Refining Your Dog’s Stays
Strengthen stay behavior with the three D’s: duration, distance, and distractions—so your dog can hold it together when real life happens.
Prerequisite: Level 1 (or equivalent). Dog should be able to hold a stay for ~15 seconds with handler at the end of the leash.
Walk This Way
A short workshop designed to rebuild enjoyable walks with practical leash skills.
Notes: Not for reactive dogs; reactive dogs should enroll in Reactive Dog Class instead. No sandals or retractable leashes.
Walk With Me: Hacks from the Professionals
An in-depth loose leash walking course using the same techniques instructors use with their own dogs.
Prerequisite: Puppy class or Level 1 (or equivalent).
Notes: First class is people only (no dogs). Front-clip harness required. Not designed for reactive dogs.
Working Through Distractions: Winning Your Dog’s Focus
If your dog loses their brain the moment something interesting exists (so… Tuesday), this class helps build focus, engagement, and follow-through around real distractions.
Prerequisite: Level 1 (or equivalent).

Agility (For Fun)
Agility is a high-energy sport where dogs navigate obstacles like tunnels, weave poles, jumps, teeters, and pause tables. Great for exercise, confidence, and teamwork—open to all breeds and sizes.
Format options: Intro / “Just for Fun” / Continuing / Junior Handler (kids).
Duration options: 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 weeks (varies by session).
Agility for Puppies
All the fun of agility with puppy-friendly, low-impact equipment designed for growing joints. Builds confidence and body awareness while strengthening your bond.
Age: Typically 7 months and younger (based on session).
Duration options: 2 or 3 weeks.
Agility for Bold Puppies (3 Weeks)
A puppy agility option designed for pups who jump into new experiences with confidence and enthusiasm. Same puppy-safe equipment, with a pace that suits bold learners.
Age: 6 months and younger.
Rally-FrEe
A creative sport that blends the structure of Rally Obedience with the fun of freestyle. Great for engagement, confidence, manners, and teamwork—welcoming for beginners and experienced teams alike.
Sports for Fun (Sampler Series)
Try a rotation of popular sports classes in one series—typically including Rally, Agility, Nose Work, and Urban Agility—so you can discover what your dog loves most.
Prerequisite: Basic puppy foundations recommended.
Urban Agility
Dogs learn to safely interact with everyday objects as obstacles—benches, rocks, logs, walls, and more. Excellent for confidence, body awareness, and enrichment. Once you learn the skills, you can practice almost anywhere.
Nose Work
Dogs learn to search for a specific odor and locate the source. An incredible mental workout that builds confidence, reduces stress, and strengthens your bond by teaching you to read your dog’s body language.
Duration options: 1 week or 5 weeks (varies by session).
Nose Work Parties: Holiday + Seasonal Themes
A themed, one-class Nose Work experience—great for busy schedules and big smiles. Often includes festive photos and a special treat.
Examples: 4th of July, Halloween, Holiday sessions (varies seasonally).
Intro to Nose Work for Puppies
A puppy-friendly Nose Work class that taps into natural sniffing instincts and builds confidence through fun searches using food/toy rewards.
Age: Puppies 6 months and under.
Duration options: 2 or 3 weeks.
Continuing Nose Work (5 Weeks)
For dogs who have completed Nose Work foundations and want to level up. Adds new puzzles, containers, and environmental challenges, with coaching on scent movement and body language.
Prerequisite: Completion of 5 weeks total of Nose Work classes.
